Get Involved + About us

There are two stages to this initiative: Stage 1 is happening now, before the Election. From Wednesday 16 February, political parties' manifestos will be scorecarded according to a framework that tests their commitment to reform.
Stage 2: After the Programme for Government has been announced, Reformcard.com will begin tracking implimentation of reform promises.
The Political Reform Scorecard is an unincorporated association established by Joe and Johnny with the objective of evaluating reform proposals of Irish political parties and monitoring implementation of these proposals. All participants have contributed their time and expertise on a voluntary pro bono basis. For more information see the initial plan of action document.

How you can help:
In the first stage of the project, leading up to the agreement of the programme for government 2011, you can get involved by emailing admin@reformcard.com, joining us on Facebook or following us on Twitter.
In the second stage of the project we will be looking to build an online community of committed activists to help us weight priority areas for reform and to monitor ongoing implementation of relevant parts of the programme for government.
If you are a designer and want to help make this site and our materials look better, drop us a line.
We are looking for people and projects that could work with us on stage 2, gathering data about government performance on reform issues. We need policy researchers and coders. Contact Johnny at the reformcard Google Group if you have an idea or system that could track policy online.
